Wonderstruck
what happens on the train
Incident 1:
I think it was a few weeks ago when I was on my way to TTSH for my monthly dental appointment. So I board the train at Yishun Station and began my journey. I was standing since there's usually no seats in the train towards Marina Bay. So seated two seats away from the corner 'priority seat' was an angmoh.

I know, there's nothing strange bout' that, not yet.

There was this guy wearing shades in his twenties perhaps, standing near the occupied priority seat.

So around a few stops after Yishun, the occupied priority seat was empty. Lucky guy in shades thought he could get a seat, so he sat at the priority seat.

I think one stop after he sat down, an elderly came in.

So the angmoh patted on the guy in shades's shoulder and pointed to the priority seat sticker behind where the guy in shades was sitting at. Than he asked or rather commanded the guy in shades to stand up and give up his seat to the elderly.

I think the guy in  shades must have felt damn malu or embarrassed already.

Okay, from a third person's point of view, it was rather logical for the angmoh to do so as he seem all righteous by asking the guy in shades to give up his seat for the elderly. Cos it is called the priority seat after all.

So the guy in shades stood.

Than after two stops or so, the elderly thanked the angmoh and left the MRT already.
Meaning: The priority seat was empty once again.

So once again, a guy wearing a red tee saw it as an opportunity to rest his legs perhaps. Thus, he sat down.

At the same time, an auntie boarded the MRT, she wasn't really old or anything, just your typical middle age 40 plus auntie.

So the angmoh strikes again. He patted the guy wearing a red tee and asked him to get up and let the auntie sit. He even said something like, 'Can't you see the lady wants to sit?'

Sheesh, I was standing there looking at all this crap the entire time btw, and the auntie happened to be standing beside me at that time. I even took the time to look at the auntie to see her reaction, apparently she was feeling quite peculiar already cos she never told the angmoh she wanna sit and I think its kinda insulting cos the angmoh is referring to her as an elderly in this case if he's demanding the guy to let his seat out to her. I don't think she's very old either.

But i think the angmoh was rather big-sized so it was kinda threatening to defy his wishes. Hence, the guy in red tee gave up his seat, and the auntie sat down obediently. lol.

Live 'entertainment' for me I know -_-
The journey to Novena had seemed so long.

Than remember the guy in shades?
He was still there!

At this point of time, the guy in shades was damn unhappy already. You know like in those ah beng gang fights where A just see B bu shuang(unhappy).

He began to speak up to that angmoh. It started off like, 'Hey don't you think people should have the right to choose whether they wanna give up their seats or not... etc etc'

He was saying a lot of stuff at a very fast pace.

But all I remember from the angmoh was, 'You shut up! Shut up! Shut up!' continuously non-stop.

Than the guy in shades stopped his speech aft a while I think and went, 'You babarian. Babarian. Babarian.'

I was still standing there watching alongst with the rest of the commuters in the same cabin going wth. -_____-

So I think the angmoh had enough of it. At around one stop before Novena, he shouted 'You get out! let's settle this!'

Something like that, I think he wanted to settle this with the guy in shades using his fist already.

Cos when the train finally reached Novena, I heard the guy in shades saying, 'Don't touch me you babarian!'

GEEEEEE. I was like trying to move further away from them already by than, but it was a little too bad I couldn't stay on in the cabin to see the continuation of the incident.
I supposed the soon-to-be fight was stopped.
Cos I didn't see any news about it the day after.

Right, all I wanna say is, I think the angmoh had some issues as well. If he was so into the thing about giving up seats and all, why was he seated throughout the entire journey too? He might as well have been the one to set an example by standing up and allowing someone else with greater needs to have the honor of sitting down.

Seriously, that day was just, strange.

Incident 2:
I was on my way to work yesterday, and yes I was in the train, standing yet again cos I was headed to Orchard on a busy Friday.

There was this foreign couple (I don't know what country) standing near the glass place for you to lean on.

The girl was leaning on the glass already. The guy was just standing near her.

Somewhere at Bishan or something, someone alighted, so the priority seat near the glass thingy was empty. At the same time, an elderly couple came in. The girl who was leaning on the glass RUN, I MEAN RUN, to the priority seat immediately even though she knew and saw the elderly couple! LIKE WTF?

The thing is, she was right beside the seat only and she had the cheek to run! As if the elder couple will snatch the seat from her. Seriously this is the shittiest inconsiderate thing I've ever seen for a while now. & the BF even smile at her as if he was happy that she got the seat in time. Crappy shit. -_-

PLUSSS. She kept gaving looks of contempt at the elderly couple and covered her nose. Cos I think there was this weird smell in the air which I never smelt of. I think the smell was from her BF. sheesh.

The elderly couple obviously saw the actions of the gross couple.
It's such a disgrace. How ungracious are these people man.
EEW.

For a moment, I actually wished the angmoh from incident 1 can pop out and reprimand that woman and then force her to give up the prioroty seat for that elderly couple.

All right. What a long post, I'm hungry now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM.

not asking for a second chance
Okay I went to my Uncle's place to celebrate my cousin's birthday today. Everything was pretty nice and all ;) had lotsa food, and my aunt said i've slimmed down which i highly doubt so. -_-

Than my uncle showed me 5 or 6 photo albums which contained mostly photos of myself when i was younger. My dad and mom were still so young man, and I think I look cuter when I was younger. Geeee. From when i was a one-month old baby to when i was 6 to 7 years old. I was in almost all the photos from the albums.

& I saw so many relatives and people who doted on me in the photos from when i was young till now. Especially the ones who are no longer here. The photos proved their existence and how real everything was in the past. I can't recall or remember going to a bungolaw and staying over with all the relatives and family every year, but we did.

& I thought, those were the days they were all happy, not that we aren't happy now. I think I was happy too at that time, as a kid who's less than 2 or 3 years old and having all the adults, and teenage cousins doting on me and all. I think I'm pretty jealous that I had no idea what was going on at that time since I'm pretty sure I couldn't speak or express my happiness well as a 2 year old kid.

Another thing I saw from the photos was that I had huge birthday parties when i was little, from the one-month old birthdays to the 6 or 7 years old ones. Coz' the photo albums had many photos of myself in different ages with different cakes each year. There were always so many cousins and families there to celebrate my birthday! I even saw a picture of my late god-dad who held me when i was a baby. I think my godmom felt nostalgia even looking at the photo too. Her husband who loves and dotes on me so, the god-dad who always brings us to this far-away place for teppanyaki and all.

And I saw so many old photos of my granny and me. When I could still sit on her lap for photo-taking sessions.

Those days were just so precious. I'm very glad they were all so happy and contented with life during those years.

It's just a shame I can't remember them all as I was too young.
Still, I'm so glad I've a chance to be part of the good memories.
Everyone's grown older it seems... Ten years' so fast.

I remembered I used to take my birthday photos behind this same table at this same location when I was six or seven too. HAHA.
Eleven years had passed now, the table hasn't change, but the person has.

Oh that's Rusty the dog;)

---Flashback photos of events over the weeks below.---
The day we all went TOP1 to sing karaoke at bugis.
I realized we never take many photos of ourselves holding on to the microphones.
The photos are all taken without the mikes!

Classic photo of Ken's head.
WOOHOO!!!

Ootoro's(Andrew) new bracelet.

p/s: I'm going to taiwan next month for free! I don't even have to pay for the plane tickets now. YES!

Wonderstruck
an idiotic day.
so today, i was late for work.
and it rained.
and i hate the rain.
than i started work,
and i got nagged for being late
than worked my ass off (i think i did) till i was dead tired.
than had lunchbreak which ended in the blink of an eye.
than requested to go home at 9.30p.m.
so i got nagged at for making that request for the second time.
coz' i had already requested and unrequested that before since i thought kim was gonna work.
but it turned out she'd canceled work.
so the request was granted since its just less $8 for me.
than i went and change my clothes.
opened my locker
and realized my clothes weren't there
so maybe i could have left it in the toilet
so i went to the toilet
it wasn't there either
i asked the auntie
she said she wasn't on duty in the morning
and that the janitor on duty in the morning had already gone home
so she suggested i went to the information counter to check for any lost&found items
so i went on to check
there was no lost&found items.
bloody hell.
so i had to go home in my working uniform.
how very pretty and cool.
than,
justina is going to orlando sunday 3.a.m.
this is sad.
and i think she's very sad too coz of personal stuff as well.
sad day.

p/s: i hope i can finish d/ling grey's anatomy episode 17 by today so i can watch and be emo bout it.
zzz.

Brighter than sunshine
I'm finally uploading photos from the sleepover last friday at Justina's place! I went over to her place after work ended at 10:30pm. Teng was apparently there already. So, the both of them came down to walk me to the house from the bus stop when I've reached.

Than, we watched Shutter since it was being shown on tv. Man, Justina seriously has no balls. (Coz she's a girl too? geee) How can anyone be screaming and screaming when the horrifying looking ghost has already appeared and the suspense is already over!? You know I'm normally freaked out by horror shows coz of the suspense and sudden appearance of the scary stuff. Not because the stuff are actually scary-looking.....

She explained it was her way of expressing her fears, but anyhow, her screams scared us so we screamed along. HA.

Than we drank alcohol at her place too. It was my freaking virgin drink & I'm proud to say I never got drunk! Actually none of us did. I think Teng and I got pretty high and scared the shit out of Justina. Coz she said alcohol makes her low instead of high. >.<

Than, we had facial, and we started reading magazines, talking. Woooo and I think we sound like a bunch of preppy high school girls. ^^

But alas, the truth hurts. Based on the photos I'm gonna post, I think we(THEY) were scary.
Shan't put these pictures in facebook coz' I'm nice. wooooohooo.

Scary woman.

STRONG WOMAN. the matteress weighs 20kg, really.

Sleeping beauty??!

Resting and waiting for our facial cream to dry up....

Oh and I finished a movie called 'A Lot Like Love' today, it was so sweet and light-hearted.
These kinda movies are the best.
I'm gonna watch many more which are found in my laptop later.

Tata. Shall watch a movie with a person who OWES me lobster mentaiyaki tomorrow.
